Proposed Laws Would Add New Flexibility for CRNAs in Florida:

In a move that ought to bring new employment opportunities to many, Florida has several new laws in the works to give CRNAs more options for practice. Florida Senate Bill 986 and House Bill 437 from Sen. Diaz and Rep. Rommell (respectively) will allow CRNAs more latitude to practice semi-independently from a supervising physician.

If these bills pass, Florida will move one step closer to independent practice and joining numerous other states and territories.

As many providers are keenly interested in Locum opportunities in the sunshine state, we’ll be keeping a close eye on these developments.
