Locum CRNA *120348: Northern, New Mexico
  • Background: min of 5 yrs experience
  • Practice Setting: Hospital OR/Surgery Dept
  • Dates: Beginning 7/1/24 – FT/Ongoing for 3 months w/ the option to extend.
  • Schedule: 2 weeks working (days), with 7 days of call (including a weekend) during the 2 weeks. If a CRNA is working the OR during the day, they don't have a night call and if they have a night call, they are not scheduled to work in the OR during the day. Beeper call response time is 20 mins.
  • Case Mix: Must be competent in all anesthesia techniques; regional block competency is a plus. Types of surgeries include ortho, podiatry, ENT (with peds), general surgery, urology, GI endo, OBGYN to include epidurals and spinals. Adults primarily with the only pediatric cases being ENT (tubes & tonsils). Advanced line placement and ventilator management in the OR/PACU. No pain blocks.
  • Support Staff/Supervision: CRNA must be comfortable with an independent/non-supervised environment
  • EMR System: MEDHOST
  • Credentialing Time-Frame: 30-45 days
  • Active NM License required
  • Flight/Lodging/Rental Car or Mileage: Yes
